Packing

Silcarbon silica gel is packed in the packing unit that is most suitable for our customer. Our
standard packing units include:

• paper bags
• pp bags
• cardboard drums
• steel drums
• bigbags

All units contain a plastic (polyethylene) bag inside in order to protect the product from
intruding moisture.

Sachets
Small bags are used as drying aid added to packing of moisture relevant products that
must be kept dry during transportation from factory to end user.

Various types of sachets can be obtained:
• non- woven: good dust retention, used for packing of e.g. leather products, electronic
parts; the bags are for single use only
•  paper: good dust retention, used for moisture protection in packing of e.g. clothing,
chemicals.. The bags can be regenerated.
• Tyvek: excellent dustproof according to DIN 55473, tear-proof.. Highest quality for
optimum protection: e.g. packing of electronical or optical equipment. Approved also for
food and pharmaceuticals. The bags can be regenerated at 120°C.
