Powder Carbons

Powdered activated carbon can be divided into two types depending on their pore size distribution:
• Silcarbon TH90, a fine porous carbon

• Silcarbon CW20, a wide porous carbon are mainly used to adsorb large molecules as for decolorization of solutions.

Fine porous carbons are mostly applied to adsorb micro-pollutants, such as chlorinated carbons, pesticides, oils, aromatic and aliphatics hydrocarbons. Depending on concentration and type of contaminant to be removed form the liquid we recommend either a coconut shell, wood or a coal based type of TH90-powder.
